Tom Laker, Owner and PresidentTom Laker, Owner and President

Tom has over 30 years of experience in the financial services and staffing industries. Following stints in the banking industry, public accounting, and financial services, Mr. Laker – a former Certified Public Accountant – has worked in the aviation staffing industry for the last 15 years. Among his responsibilities are strategic development, regulatory relations, and corporate governance.

Delania Houchin, Vice President of OperationsDelania Houchin, Vice President of Operations

As VP of Operations Delania is responsible for the overall daily functioning of our office. Mrs. Houchin has been in the Aviation Staffing field for over 10 years and she has a vast knowledge in the FAA/DOT area of the industry.

In addition to providing superior customer service to both clients and temporary employees, she oversees all areas of compliance including all pre-employment qualifications; criminal background, employment history, and drug testing verifications/checks.

Nancy Rodriguez, Vice President of Recruiting and SalesNancy Rodriguez, Vice President of Recruiting

Nancy works directly with our aviation recruiting consultants and many clients. Mrs. Rodriguez has been in the Aviation Staffing industry for over 10 years. Along the way she has received numerous awards for her superior Aviation Recruiting abilities. She has established long term relationships with many people in the aviation industry. She currently works directly with the Aviation Personnel recruiters to guide them to the same success she has had for so many years. She also works directly with clients with open communication and customer services skills to provide the staffing solutions they require.

James Strahan, Director of SalesJames Strahan, Director of Sales

As Director of Sales, James works with clients to develop a business plan to provide well qualified technicians as needed to their facility. Over his 34 years in the aviation field James has acquired a wide spectrum of experience including 10 years as a licensed A&P technician serving in the United States Air Force and  working in the MRO industry. James embarked in the aviation staffing industry in 1994 and has worked with several staffing agencies throughout his career. James works hard to provide the best customer service possible and has been very successful in doing so.

Michael Holloway, Director of Finance and AdministrationMichael Holloway, Director of Finance and Administration

Michael is a TCU graduate and has been involved in finance and accounting for over 30 years in the Fort Worth area including a CFO role for an extensive real estate developer and a business manager role for one of Fort Worth's most well-known families who was heavily invested in aviation/aircraft. Michael joined Aviation Personnel in February of 2017 and directs all finance and administrative activities including state and federal tax compliance, payroll and associated functions, financial reporting, audit support and maintaining banking and vendor relationships.
